The Cherries looked to build on Premier League survival the year before, securing loan deals for highly-rated duo Nathan Aké and Jack Wilshere from Chelsea and Arsenal respectively. Aké would score a famous 93rd-minute winner over Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in early December, as Bournemouth came back from the 3-1 down to earn a dramatic 4-3 win at the Vitality Stadium.
